During the first phase of the 139th China Import and Export Fair in 2026, drones emerged as the most prominent symbol of new productive forces at the event. For the first time, two dedicated zones—one for consumer drones and another for agricultural drones—were established, bringing together over 670 companies and more than 1,000 new products. The exhibition attracted significant attention from buyers across 216 countries and regions worldwide, with a notable year-over-year increase in intended orders.
This exhibition showcases the latest generation of industrial, agricultural, heavy-lift logistics, and micro-smart drones, featuring multiple breakthroughs in core technologies: AI-powered omnidirectional solid-state LiDAR fusion for obstacle avoidance, enabling 360° obstacle avoidance and adaptation to complex flight environments such as buildings and forests; the large-scale application of solid-state batteries and hydrogen fuel cells, significantly enhancing drone endurance and payload capacity—with heavy-lift models exceeding a 50kg payload and capable of operating for 2 hours after just 10 minutes of charging; Fully automated drone airports operate 24/7 without human intervention, completing battery swaps in 52 seconds and establishing a closed-loop system for fully unmanned operations.
Notable achievements in practical applications: Agricultural drones equipped with RTK centimeter-level positioning enable precise spraying and seeding, reducing water and pesticide use by 40%, and are suitable for operations in hilly and mountainous terrain; palm-sized micro search-and-rescue drones, equipped with thermal imaging and AI recognition, are suitable for rescue operations in confined spaces; new products such as heavy-load logistics drones, emergency lighting drones, and manned low-altitude flight drones were launched simultaneously, covering a wide range of sectoral needs.
Overseas buyers are focusing on integrated “hardware plus solutions” procurement, with buyers from Brazil, Georgia, and other countries reaching preliminary cooperation agreements. This exhibition clearly demonstrates that Chinese drones have evolved from standalone aircraft into comprehensive solutions for the low-altitude economy, with intelligence, autonomy, and scenario-based applications emerging as the industry’s dominant trends.
