As modern UAV platforms continue demanding longer endurance and higher payload capacities, propulsion systems must deliver more torque while maintaining excellent efficiency and thermal stability.

The 5215 brushless outrunner motor was specifically developed for medium and large multirotor aircraft that require reliable lifting capability without excessive system weight.
Featuring a large 52 mm stator diameter and 15 mm stator height, the 5215 offers an excellent balance between power density, efficiency, and weight, making it one of the most versatile industrial UAV motors available today.
Depending on KV configuration and propeller selection, the 5215 motor typically delivers peak output power between 1.0 kW and 2.5 kW, while maximum thrust generally ranges from 5 kg to 8 kg per motor.
This allows quadcopter configurations to achieve takeoff weights exceeding 20 kg while maintaining sufficient thrust reserves for safe operation.
The large stator volume allows the motor to efficiently drive larger propellers while maintaining low operating temperatures and stable current consumption.
Compared with smaller motors such as 4214 or 4315, the 5215 delivers:

1.Higher low-speed torque;
2.Improved hover efficiency;
3.Lower throttle requirements during cruise flight;
4.Greater payload margins.
Typical applications include:
-Agricultural spraying drones;
-Mapping and surveying UAVs;
-Emergency response aircraft;
-Logistics delivery drones;
-Heavy-lift photography platforms.
