As FPV drones continue evolving from racing platforms into industrial tools capable of carrying heavier payloads and flying longer missions, traditional small stator motors are gradually reaching their physical limits.
The 4315 brushless outrunner motor was developed specifically to fill the gap between lightweight FPV motors and heavy industrial propulsion systems, delivering an ideal balance of thrust, efficiency, and responsiveness.
With its large stator volume and outstanding power density, the 4315 has become a popular choice for 13-inch and 15-inch FPV aircraft, logistics drones, industrial inspection UAVs, emergency response platforms, and heavy-lift cinematic drones.
The motor adopts a 43 mm stator diameter and 15 mm stator height, providing significantly greater electromagnetic volume than traditional 3110 and 3515 motors.
This larger stator design allows the motor to generate higher torque at lower RPM while maintaining excellent efficiency during long-duration flight missions.

Compared with smaller FPV motors, the 4315 provides:
-Higher lifting capability;
-Improved hover efficiency;
-Reduced current consumption;
-Better wind resistance;
-Lower operating temperatures.
These characteristics make it especially suitable for medium and heavy-duty UAV platforms.
Depending on KV selection and propeller configuration, the 4315 motor can deliver peak output power ranging from approximately 1.8kW to more than 3.5kW.
When paired with modern carbon fiber propellers, individual motor thrust can typically achieve:
-3kg to 6kg under continuous operating conditions;
-7kg to 8kg during peak thrust testing;
-over 10kg in optimized heavy-lift configurations.
For a quadcopter platform, total available thrust can exceed 28kg, while octocopter configurations can easily surpass 50kg of total thrust capacity.
