As industrial drones continue increasing in size and payload capacity, propulsion systems must provide higher torque reserves, superior thermal stability, and long-term reliability.
The 4720 brushless outrunner motor was specifically developed for medium and heavy-duty UAV platforms operating under demanding conditions.
Featuring a large 47 mm stator diameter and 20 mm stator height, the 4720 delivers significantly more torque than 4715-class motors while maintaining excellent efficiency with large-diameter propellers.
The additional stator height increases the electromagnetic volume by approximately 33% compared with a 4715 motor.
This allows the motor to generate:
