In freestyle applications, where pilots perform flips, rolls, and dynamic aerial tricks, the 2205 motor provides strong thrust and reliable recovery, enabling smooth transitions between aggressive movements and controlled flight.
Although less common than 2207 motors, the 2205 can still be used in lightweight cinematic drones where moderate payload and high responsiveness are required, especially in dynamic shooting environments.
Due to its balance between cost, performance, and availability, the 2205 motor is also widely used in training drones and entry-level racing builds.
